Who we are

FastSMSOnline is a bulk SMS platform operated from Accra, Ghana, West Africa.

Information we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

Account information — your name, email address and password, which you give us when you register. Passwords are stored hashed and cannot be read by us or anyone else.
Contact data you upload — the phone numbers, names and group labels you add to your address book so you can send to them.
Usage records — the messages you send, who they were sent to, when, the sender ID used, delivery status, and your credit purchases and deductions.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver the service and for nothing else:

To send the messages you ask us to send, to the recipients you specify.
To maintain your account, your credit balance and your transaction history.
To show you delivery reports and message history.
To answer your support requests.
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of the platform.

Your contacts

The phone numbers you upload are yours. We use them to deliver the messages you send and for no other purpose. We do not sell, rent, share or market to your contacts, and we do not use them to build lists of our own.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message the people on your list. Nothing in this policy grants you permission you do not otherwise have.

Who we share it with

We share data only where the service cannot work without it:

Digitrust Messaging Platform, which processes message sending, delivery receipts and your credit wallet on our behalf.
Mobile network operators, who necessarily receive the recipient number and message content in order to deliver it.
Paystack, which processes payments. Card details are entered on Paystack’s systems and never reach ours.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept while your account is open. Message and transaction records are retained for as long as your account is open, and for a period afterwards where we are required to keep them to meet accounting and legal obligations.

When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data except where we are required to keep it.

Security

Your account is protected by a password you choose, and passwords are stored hashed. Traffic between your browser and FastSMSOnline is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure. Use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly at hello@fastsmsonline.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct anything inaccurate — most of it you can edit yourself on your profile.
Delete your account and the data associated with it.
Stop sending you marketing about FastSMSOnline itself.

Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies and makes no third-party requests. The application at my.fastsmsonline.com sets a session cookie that keeps you signed in — it is necessary for the service to function and is not used for tracking.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
